I literally grew up under my father's cutting table, taking daily naps in the rag box underneath. So, tailoring is most definitely in my blood. My father came to America at the ripe old age of 16, already a master tailor, having been sent to apprentice with the tailor in his small village in Calabria, to, as my grandmother said, "keep him from going astray". Hence, his whole life was tailoring. He had no hobbies to speak of, other than singing opera, which he did as a young man with Patrice Munsel, who went on to international fame singing with the Metropolitan  Opera. I think I, as well as my sons, inherited his love of music to the degree that we do today.

Here are a few photos of my family, and life growing up.
